Terms and Conditions
 
Booking Applications:
All reservations for accommodation are applied for and accepted subject to the following conditions:-

Sorry, No dogs or pets are allowed in the caravan or on the holiday park at any time. 
No Smoking in the caravan.

Occupation :
Is from 2pm on day of arrival. Please vacate no later than 10am on the day of departure leaving the caravan in a clean and tidy condition. This will allow time for cleaners to prepare the caravan for the following week. The booking is accepted only for the number of persons including children and babies stated on the reservation form. Any additional persons added after the booking must be approved by us prior to your stay. The maximum number of persons including children and babies should not exceed 6 per caravan at any time during your stay. Any daytime visitors should register at reception and vacate by midnight. (This is a park rule) 

Bookings:
Subject to the accommodation being available, a booking will be made on receipt of the £50 booking deposit fee (Which is non-refundable unless another booking is taken to replace the cancelled booking). Reservations will be held for 7 days only pending receipt of your deposit booking fee or full amount.

Bookings will not be accepted from single sex male groups, female groups or mixed groups aged 25 or under and where such groups are found to be in residence they will be required to vacate immediately and shall not be entitled to any refund or compensation. Specific requests will be accommodated if possible.

The outstanding balance is payable no later than 6 weeks before arrival. If the full amount is not received 6 weeks before arrival, the reservation will be deemed cancelled and the deposit booking fee forfeited to Whitby Coast Caravans.

5% discount applies where 2 weeks or more are booked within the same calendar year.
Example A. 2 or more consecutive weeks are booked - A 5% reduction will be applied to the total of all these weeks.
Example B. 1 week is booked, then another later in the same year. The first week will be charged in full. The 2nd week will receive a discount equivalent to 5% off the total of both weeks.
Example C. 2 Caravans are booked for the same week under the same name - A 5% reduction will be applied to both caravans.

Cancellations:
Provided notice is given in writing to us 6 weeks before commencement of the holiday all monies will be refunded, less the deposit booking fee which is non-refundable. After this date in the event of cancellation the full balance of the hire charge is payable by the hirer unless the accommodation can be re-let. In the event of any cancellation of any booking by the company the liability of the company will be limited to the refund of any monies paid. 

Breakages and Damages:
The hirer will be responsible for any loss or damage during their stay. All breakages or damages should be reported immediately to Whitby Coast Caravans and paid for or replaced by the hirer. Any damages or loss discovered after the hirer has vacated will be claimed against the hirer. 

Cars/Parking:
One car only may be parked near the caravan accommodation. Extra cars must park in the car park and Northcliffe holiday park reception should be advised of this. Vehicles must not exceed 10 m.p.h. within the main park or 5mph on the Touring Park and must not exceed 20 m.p.h. on the private road from the B1447 to Northcliffe Holiday Park. Vehicles must only be driven by holders of a current driving licence having adequate insurance cover.

Insurance:
Cancellation insurance is NOT added to the cost of your holiday. The company does advise the hirer to take out this form of insurance.

General:
The Company does not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any personal injury, inconvenience, loss or damage to persons or their property however caused, during their stay at Whitby Coast Caravans properties sited on Northcliffe Holiday Park. The company reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone whom in their sole discretion they deem unsuitable for the accommodation provided and to expel any person who is causing a nuisance or annoyance to others or breaks any of the Park Rules. A copy of the Park Rules can be found on the park notice board. Alternatively a copy of the Parks Rules can be forwarded on request.

We would like to highlight some of the Park Rules below to assist you in preparation for your holiday.
- No tents or gazebos are permitted on the Park.
- No skateboards, roller-skates, rollerblades or micro scooters are allowed on the park apart from in the designated recreation area.
- Cycling is restricted to the designated play area and is not permitted around buildings, caravans or the park roads except when entering or leaving the park.

But most important of all, have a great time!
